Questions are often posed about the difficulties associated with diagnosing psychiatric ‘disorders.’ It was recently asked whether it was more difficult for girls to be diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In view of the fact ADHD has never been scientifically validated and is a fabricated psychiatric label, any difficulty is going to be whether there’s a willingness of the person doing the labelling to carry on the fraud.
Diagnosing anyone with ADHD regardless of their age or gender is going to be a matter of opinion. There’s no doubt some children can have difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities; they might lose things necessary for tasks or activities, they might get easily distracted, have difficulty playing or engaging in leisure activities quietly, or talk excessively.
These sound like normal childhood behaviours that go hand-in-hand with the excitement, anticipation and activity of childhood, but for a psychiatrist, it’s part of the list of diagnostic criteria used to label children with ADHD.
Normal childhood behaviour has been redefined by psychiatrists to the point where dangerous psychiatric drugs are used to suppress such behaviour. The propaganda regarding childhood behaviour has been cleverly worded to sound convincing, and its being regularly accepted without inspection.
Parents however are left in a difficult position with few options. Every loving parent will do whatever it takes to protect their children and to that degree, they believe what a psychiatrist tells them.
The behaviour of some children can be testing, but it’s not representative of a so-called mental illness. It’s a spectacular marketing coup that so many people have accepted ADHD when, in reality, it’s just a figment of psychiatric imagination.
It’s also testimony to the worldwide psychiatric propaganda that ADHD drugs, which include drugs pharmacologically similar to cocaine, have become accepted as ‘treatment’ for an unscientific profit-driven label. In fact, ADHD is the modern-day equivalent of the Emperor’s New Clothes.
There can be no doubt that some children can be boisterous, argumentative, and even disruptive, but psychiatry’s fixation on labelling such difficulties as a mental illness or disorder is not only unscientific, but medical fraud.
Love them, don’t drug them, is the best option.
